  7.        * Elegance is a patterned (menus), red/black and gold color scheme for
  8.             Greg Landweber's Kaleidoscope 1.5 or 1.5.1, created in a classic, elegant style. 
  9.             It will not work in the older Kaleidoscope 1.0 or 1.0.1 versions.  There are 
  10.             custom folders and trash can written into the color scheme.  I have also
  11.             included desktop textures (also mine) for your desktop pattern control panel.

  13.          *To use it, just pop it into your color schemes folder and enjoy the 
  14.             elegance of classic simplicity.   In order to see the custom folders and trash 
  15.             can, you will need to restart your Mac.   Please keep this Read Me with the 
  16.             color scheme.

  18.          *Disclaimer:  Elegance  has been developed and tested on a PowerMac,
  19.             based upon a 1.5 version and designed for 256 colors.  Elegance  is 
  20.             shareware.  It is all completely hand-drawn, with many hours of work. 
  21.             The small shareware fee ($5.00) entitles you to one set of either my Fancies 
  22.             (Byzantine, Celtic Knot, and Stripes) or Patterns (Springtime, Greek Key, and
  23.             Lace and Sapphires) without any extra payment.  It also registers you for 
  24.             freebies, available only to registered users.  If you like my color scheme
  25.             well enough to download it and use it,  please pay the shareware fee, folks!
  26.             I cannot continue making color schemes if more users don't pay the fee,
  27.             and you get so much for so little.   Do not steal the artwork; create your own.
